ACTOR, SINGER, MUSICIAN, GOOBER.
I’m Nick. I do theater and music and I like to read things. Long walks on the beach and all that.
I was born in Westford, Massachusetts which is about 45 minutes from Boston. Heard of Lowell, MA? Yeah, it’s near there. I started performing on stage at 8 years old when I’m told I performed some kind of King Herod routine (not from Jesus Christ Superstar) at church. I’ve been thinking about or doing theatre every day since. From 8 years old until I started high school I would do theatre with the amazing Colleen Rua and Matthew Lundeen at Arlington Children’s Theatre in Arlington, MA. I went to high school at Westford Academy which is not a private school, I swear. The man who ran the enormous theatre program is named Michael Towers. He taught me so much. I can’t even begin to explain what that man has given me in my theatre education. Suffice it to say that he was and remains to be one of the best mentors I could ever dream of. After high school I went to UConn to pursue my BFA in Acting. There’s a lot of people there that are awesome, so I won’t list them all here. Check my resume for that dope list.
I wrote this one-man show while I was at UConn called The Old Names. It’s a retelling of Book II of the Aeneid and it connects the events in the story of the fall of Troy to my life. I am really passionate about this kind of storytelling and I hope to continue workshopping the show and taking it to fringe festivals in the future.
I was recently in The Importance of Being Earnest at Connecticut Repertory Theatre as well. I played Jack Worthing. Or Earnest Moncrieff really. Whichever you like. Here’s some press from that:
